So what was or is the greatest story ever told? Well, as a storyteller myself, I’m all about the story. I love stories. I even make up stories. It’s something I’ve done my entire life. As a kid, my storytelling was especially exasperating to my mother. It became a game to see just how great a story I could tell. Ultimately it led to my passion for writing and my passion for oral storytelling.

Don’t you just love seeing kids at worship? A church filled with kids is a church that’s growing. But did you know that kids have gifts too? Quiet churches are dying churches. I used to teach Vacation Bible School and I loved it. So many memories of little faces all aglow with the love of Jesus. All sharing the gifts God gave them.
It’s kind of like life. Not everyone has an easy time of it. Especially when dealing with obstacles. How we deal with those obstacles is key. What do we do when things don’t go according to plan? Getting off track when we fail—do we live our faith?
